This item is a new unactivated trackable geocoin in the original and unopened packaging produced by Direct Mint at the request of Penn Soil RC&D Council, the official host of the Geowoodstock 9 Event held at the Fairgrounds in Warren County, PA on July 2, 2011.  This unique coin is shaped like the state symbol of PA, the Keystone, and was produced as a reward for volunteers who came together to plan and host the Geowoodstock 9 event which attracted 5000 geocaching participants from all over the world.  One side of the coin features the text for the event spelled out: Geowoodstock 9, the GC code for the event-GC2AZ7G, and the coordinates for the host venue location as well as the unique tracking number which allows you to track the coins movement on the geocaching.com website.  The second side of the coin features an image of a satellite beaming global positioning system coordinates down to all the participants traveling through the rural Warren County landscape of farms and forests.  On the bottom edge of the keystone shaped geocoin, the word VOLUNTEER is stamped into the edge of the special geocoin.  As a bonus, the coin comes with a free 1.75 inch round and hefty grey-scale Proxy Geocoin produced by GX Proxy that features an artists rendition of the original coin design elements.  The coin is round, but shows the keystone symbol and the design elements as a picture of the artwork found on the original geocoin.  The proxy coin has the identical tracking number found on the original coin engraved on the proxy coin which allows you to release the proxy coin to travel caches all over the world (if you wish) while the original coin remains as part of your collection.  The tracking numbers have been deliberately blacked out in the images provided in order to prevent online discoveries of this unactivated coin.
